What is SEET:
SEET stands for “Stimulating Entrepreneurial Education and Training”.
SEET is a transnational network, bringing together people and organisations, interested in Entrepreneurial Education. The network aims to improve the valorisation and dissemination of policies, methods and instruments to stimulate entrepreneurship in (vocational) education and training and to enhance the transfer of entrepreneurial competences to young people and adults.
• Supporting a transnational network on entrepreneurial education, linking up with other networks in the field
• Setting up innovative projects in the area of entrepreneurial education, for example transnational benchmarking
• Organising Study Visits, Transnational Events and Regional Activities in the field of entrepreneurial education and training
• Building an internet-based Transnational Knowledge Centre on entrepreneurial education and training and supporting the LinkedIn SEET Group
• Facilitating discussion amongst stakeholders, including policy makers, organisations with a responsibility to promote the implementation of entrepreneurial education and practitioners.
Outcomes and results of the network activities can be consulted via www.seetnetwork.eu
Membership:
Any organisation or individual, interested in entrepreneurial education, can be an associated member of the network. To become an associated member, you should join the SEET LinkedIn group, via the following link
Members of the LinkedIn Group will receive regular updates on the activities of the network, and have the opportunity to be actively involved in some of the SEET Network actions. Associated membership is free of charge.
The core members of SEET are “connectors” in the area of Entrepreneurial Education: brokers and organisations that link together policy and practice, and people and ideas. They are very much entrepreneurial education ‘champions’. The core members have the right to participate at the SEET Steering Committee meetings and thus play a role in the management and strategic direction of the Network. Core membership is free of charge.
Organisations wishing to become core members of SEET should send a documented request (including their reasons for wishing to become a core member and details of the way in which they believe they can contribute to the network) to any of the current core members, who will present the request to the SEET Steering Committee.
